Can an Apple G3 Power Mac run any form of Linux without a Hard drive?

Question

I was given a few GREAT condition G3's, but the hard drives of course were destroyed.

FIRST: Can an Apple G3 Power Mac run any form of Linux OS?

SECOND: If it can can it Boot Linux without a Hard drive?

I have a Pc that runs Linux Dingo 4.0 without a hard drive.

Any help would be GREAT!!!!!1

it will run from live cd or fom a flash drive

It should be able to!  Boot the computer from the Live CD!  

It should boot up and run Dingo without problems!
