I'm an Australian citizen and my parent's parents are from England and Malta. Does that mean I qualify for student support from the English Government?

  1. You can probably qualify for student support if you gain permanent residency in England. This shouldn't be a problem as one of your parents is from England. It's a lengthy process though, but you will be much better off financially.

  2. Unfortunately, you have to be a national of an EU country to receive student support in the United Kingdom. Sorry.
