  1. After what happened to the Patriots, I dont think this will ever happen.

  2. As Tony Dungey once said, it's a meaningless record if you don't win the Super Bowl. That's why the Colts, the only Team other than NE to have a legitimate shot at it, passed on the opportunity a few seasons back, opting to rest the starters rather than risk injury once the Division had been clinched. As far as favourites to do it in the coming season, I don't see NE repeating the magic. Once the New York Football Giants humiliated them in the Super Bowl, they lost a lot of that alchemy. The Colts probably could, but look for them to coast once they lock up their seeding and play starters only in the first half. San Diego has enough talent to go far, but look for both the Colts and the Pats to beat them soundly as they have no heart, a punk QB and a pansy RB (He sat out a play off game because he had an ouchie!), not to mention the worst coach in the modern history of football. So, I suppose what I am saying is that No One will do it.

  3. Sure, they've shown now that it can happen if you have the right players....now to everyone who thinks they Pats will do it again... they will not do it this year.  I know it's only preseason, but look at already how well they are performing.  I know they are without the "Almighty" Tom Brady, but that sure doesn't explain why you can't run the ball, or stop to offense with your defense.  They are showing a very weak form compared to last year.  Even in their preseason last year, they still won without Brady, because they at least had a defense.  Then when regular season hit, offense clicked and defense clicked.  They have lost too much on defense, and when you go undefeated only to lose, that either sticks in your head in a good or bad way.  You either use it as motivation and do it again and say, we got that far, we can do it again, or, what if, what if, what if and they choke when they get behind...too your question now sorry lol....

Anyone can do anything, the Dolphins showed it, and that was the first and last time we saw that happen, we've seen so many other teams try to do that, the '85 Bears are the best example, and then the Bears that went to the Super Bowl against the Colts, Miami torched them 31-13, the Vikings lost at 13-0, the Colts at 13-0. and the Broncos at 13-0.  Teams have lasted well into the season only to be "upset" by another team.  The Pats loss wasn't a fluke.  EVERYONE knew what the Pats had, and the Giants prepared for it more.  The first half was on the Pats side, but that slipped away as a defensive line kill them all through the second half.  It's all about mentality, who wants it more, and not letting it get too much in your head, or too far away to make it a reality.  Sorry so long lol, hope this helps.

  6. The Patriots proved that it is within reach

  7. It will likely never be done because the seasons are longer now, and teams have to deal with free agency.  The Patriots have the best chance because they play in a very weak division (AFC East).

  8. Yes, especially with the calibur of talent nowadays, but I think it will be quite awhile before it happens again.....

  9. key word...ALMOST.  i would rather go 16-3 and win the superbowl than go 18-1 and lose it.

I do like the guy who said the boyz will go 19-0....don't think it will happen tho.

  10. The Dallas Cowboys will go 19-0.

  11. Of course the possibilities are endless...NE, pretty sure there comming back and craving it more then ever...im not at new england fan either
