I've been attending physical therapy for months then I stopped not because the therapy ended. Now, I'm just trying to find other ways of curing my shoulder. I tried to drink pain relievers but the pain eases temporarily then it hurts again.

  1. Acupuncture is definitely a treatment option for you.  Diabetes, insulin dependent or not, is not a contraindication for acupuncture.

Keep in mind that you will need to schedule a series of treatments for frozen shoulder issues.  One treatment is not going to be a magic bullet.

  2. Hi Aida

Yes - definitely worth a try

You can read a lot more about frozen shoulder on my two websites (I'm a doctor who specialises in the treatment of shoulder pain)

    http://painfulshoulder.org

    or

    http://www.jointenterprise.co.uk

The second of those two sites lets you download a free copy of an ebook I wrote about frozen shoulder and how to deal with it. Both sites have lots of information about frozen shoulder and diabetes

    Hope this helps
