Question:

Can an acoustic guitar's bridge be replaced

It's a Fender DG-7. Recently had the strings changed, must have put too much pressure on the pegs, because the bridge split. Is this fatal? Worth fixing or is it going to cost more than this uber-basic guitar is worth? Thanks, and sorry if the first thing that comes to mind is "DUH!!", I'm still fairly new with guitars.

  1. If the bridge split, it's probably unrepairable. You can get it replaced or replace it yourself. Check out a good guitar shop. They can help you.
