  1. 4ft cue-can but hard,if 5ft cue or normal and proper for games.

  2. Sure it can be done. This will work out well especially if the adult is real short or has short arms. It may alter your play but not too awful much.

  3. You can def play a proper game of pool. I know I can. Don't let that stop you from playing the great game. Sure a 5ft cue would work out better because of your reach when you aim your cue but 4ft will be fine.

  4. First of all you use the word "adult". Adults come in all shapes and sizes. I know a few that are only 4-feet to 4 1/2 feet tall and a few others that are under 5-feet. To them a 4-foot cue stick works fine in the size room you mention or anywhere else they play. But if you're much taller, previous answers are most helpful. I also have a bad corner in my rec room where I have to use a shorter stick. So I know what you are going through.

  5. Any pool is better than no pool, but you will feel very weird and uncomfortable at a pool hall with a standard sized cue

  6. It can be done.  The question is going to be just how happy you will be doing so.  What I might recommend is that you use a normal length cue for the shots where the wall won't interfere and save your short cue only for the shots where it will interfere.  I think you'll find that even in cramped quarters you can use a full-length cue on many shots.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.
