Can an american citizen take her indian parents to canda as tourist without visa?

  1. If they are Indian citizens they will need Canadian visa, regardless of their US visa. You can apply for it at Canadian Consulate in Buffalo if you are visiting Niagara or many other consulates all over US. If you walk in at the designated time it does not take more than a few hours to get on.

  2. Nope.Canada is a different country.If they are not American citizens and/or green card holders, they do need tourist visa(i.e temporary visitor visa)

Obviously with them coming to the U.S they have passports, and with India being a part of the Commonwealth as long as they have there passports they can enter for a day or 2 on a trip, you will need to bring you passport, not for us here in Canada but the U.S, now needs a picture I.D for re-entery, the 2009 issue for us to have them for entry is not going into effect until June of next year, visitors are not with a few exceptions in need of a visitors visa, check with the Indian consulate if unsure.

  4. You need passports now. It doesn't matter if they're Indian. You all need passports.
