  1. Yes it can.

    If your PC has an S or coposite output and your TV has also, then they can be connected.

    BTW, you can convert S to composite if you have to with an adapter.

    You won;'t get a good looking desktop on the TV, because you'll be using standard definition, but video and DVDs will look good.
