I live in NYC and park my car in an outdoor parking lot. I applied for auto insurance w/TSC Direct and was quoted a great rate. Proceeded to apply and was told that they can only offer me liability insurance b/c i dont park my car in an indoor garage. Since my car is financed by law i am required to have full coverage. BTW - i have a clean driving record.

  1. Yes they can DENY full coverage because you park in an out door lot. To get full coverage you must park the VEHICLE at your home address. Meaning in a drive way, in  a garage or on the street in front of your home.

  2. If they won't insure you for that then run fast.. Go find a reputable company.

  3. Yeah I agree...stay away from that company. They should NEVER deny you full coverage for something like that.
