I mean they take away your hour lunch and reduce it to 30 minutes, play with your start and stop times on Friday and then change it again the next Monday?

  1. Unless you have a contract (personal or union) that specifies work and lunch hours, and as long as he gives you at least a half hour lunch, yes, they can.

  2. Most certainly, depending on what type of pre-employment paperwork you filled out.  Depending on what you do for a living, hourly employees, which I assume you are, typically have scheduled breaks and lunches due to productivity reasons.  Check out your company's policies and procedures, make sure you signed off on them...if not, then you have a reason to complain.
