Honestly I can't answer that one with a yes or no response.. I'd say if they do, then what do they do take it out of your first check if they hire you? and if they don't hire you then what? who pays then? It wouldn't be me thats for sure if it was my situation.. best of luck

yes, It is rare but some companies do that.  I would never work for a company like that.
