  1. Absolutely not!!! You can live anywhere you want. You have the power to decide who you work for. They have the power to tell you their requirements for their job. If you don' like the requirements, find another job.


  2. They can as the New Orleans Police Department used to dictate that an officer had to live in Orleans Parish. That has changed since Katrina. However, if they did not tell you until you were hired, then they cannot enforce it because they did not inform you that it was a condition of employment

  3. More details needed but I would think that they could not.
