  1. I just don't understand how people can bash a person for talking about their life.  I didn't know anything about Sarah Palin, and now I do.  That her life has challenges makes her human.

You obviously are a jaded cynical person, I'm sure you see all things this way.

  2. It really makes me sad.  You would think someone with such a defenseless infant would have nothing else on her mind.

  3. Enough with the baby with Downs Syndrome already.  I'm as liberal as they come, with no intentions of EVER voting for Sarah Palin, but as the parent of a child with a disability, I'm tired of people calling her a bad mom for going back to work and saying that she is exploiting him by putting him on stage with the rest of her kids.

Having a child with a disability has turned me into a savvy political activist.  You have to be to get the child the services they need.  I'm on a first name basis with my state and federal representatives, and have had a front row education on how policy is made at both levels.  Are moms exploiting their kids by making them visible or educating the public?

I guess we should hide them away?  I don't think so.

I don't give a good god d**n what the bible says on this.  Why not discuss something of actual substance (like her stand on abortion, her so-called fiscal conservatism, and book banning, and leave this BS issue alone.

  4. Oh no kidding!  That creeped me out so much.

On and on aboug "cutting taxes!" But somehow, she'll magically be able to help you with your special needs kid!

They trotted out the soldier stuff so much with McCain too.  And yet Biden didn't exploit his kid even once.

  5. And if she hid the baby away, you would be on this site criticizing her for trying to "hide her embarrassing down syndrome baby for political gain". People like you are never satisfied, so just stop kidding yourself.

  6. I suppose they could.  But you know they never would.

    Unless -- naah.

    Never happen.

  7. Having a child with downs syndrome gives her more of an insight (than parents of non-downs syndrome). Is that exploiting(abusing) it, that call is between her and God presently.

  8. "ethical christian" is an oxymoron.

  9. You need a longer pole.  You're over reaching a little.

  10. The Bible is certainly against murdering it because it is inconvenient or not perfect.  It is impossible for a Presidential candidate to completely hide immediate family from the press.  For years all the nominees have had their immediate family on the podium at the conventions.  I have seen the Kennedy, Nixon, Johnson, Carter, Clinton, Bush, and Obama periodically on campaign appearances.

If Governor had kept the baby off the stage, there would have been charges that she was ashamed of him.
