Can an iPod touch only play movies rented from iTunes?

I have some .mp4 movies that I'd like to watch on my iPod Touch, however, they are not from iTunes. How do I transfer them to my iPod?

If it helps- my iPod is jailbroken.

  3. i dowload mp4 movies from anywere that is not from itunes and i can easily put it on my ipod and it is NOT jailbroke, so you can do the same

  5. Yea you can i have tons of movies on it just drag it into itunes and sync it will work as long as it is in mp4 format

  6. It's simple:

    Simply find the video, download it (if you haven't already), and then find the folder that you put the mp4 file in.

    Right-click the file, and Open with iTunes.

    It'll play in iTunes, and automatically be moved into your iTunes library.

    Another way is to import the file.
