My friends sister wants to go to L.A. for the weekend, she lives in NYC and she wants to take an airplane there. Can she with just a photo I.D.? Or is not allowed. She wouldn't be going over seas, just from NYC to L.A.

  1. you're saying she's illegal so therefore she doesn't have a valid US driver's license.  she might have a passport but if her visa is expired, the TSA can turn her over to immigration officers.  i wouldn't advice her to fly without a valid ID.  she shouldn't take the risk of being caught if she doesn't want to be deported.

  2. All that is required for US domestic travel is some form of Photo ID like a drivers license or passport....but i think an ID would be OK...oh ya a ticket it also useful! ;P

  3. You need a valid government photo ID. Like a driver's license.)

Oh, ticket name should match photo ID name exactly.
