  1. When my husband went for his immigration interview last year, they kept his passport and mailed it to him in three business days.

If nothing happened with your passport, then you need to find out what the status is..

  2. I went for an immigration interview in April and the did not stamp my passport, my green card arrived in the mail 3 weeks later. I believe it depends on the city where you had the interview, some stamp and some don't. May be to do with how long it is taking them to get green card out, like I said no stamp for me, but the card came in 3 weeks.... I have heard of some people waiting months for their physical card...  Did the interviewer say anything about need further docs from you? Another person I know didn't get a stamp as they were still waiting for her background check to be completed, they gave you no indication about your status? Have you logged in online to see what your case status is?

  3. Not normally. When they do not stamp your passport it indicates the interviewer either decided to deny your visa or has sent it back for more investigation.
