Can an insurance company charge betterment on a stolen part.?

What about a cat convertor...can they charge betterment even if they don't know how old the original convertor was?

  1. Yes.

    If for instance your tires were stolen and they had 40K miles driven on them then the insurance company would deduct the betterment of the NEW tires that they replaced them with.
