  1. Yes, ovarian cysts can cause your period to fluctuate. It's quite common for females to get this type of cysts. (I get them frequently, and when I was a teenager, my doctor suggested I get on the pill to reduce the frequency). I still get them sometimes, and the reason I know is because my ovary will become tender and sore. I am have a very regular cycle, and at times I have been really late...by a week or so, from cysts. If they become a problematic, talk to your OBGYN about it. You may be a candidate for the pill to help them. Also, be careful because some of them can be cancerous. Just make sure you go to your regular checkups! Don't stress about it though, like I said, it's very normal to get these.

  2. They can do, when I had ovarian cysts I had very band menstrual problems before I had any other pain. My advice would be see a doctor they can check for most things that cause menstruation problems.

  3. Yes it can. It can also be extremely painful if it bursts. I suggest you go to a doctor. I had an ovarian cyst burst and the pain was as bad as labor.

  4. yes it can. I had ovarian cancer and now cancer free, and that totally mucked up my whole body even my periods.
