Wondering if this might be a loop-hole. My local grocery store has one of those self-serve lanes, and I'm wondering whether the computer has any special lock against being able to purchase cartons of beer, malt beverages, etc. I'm not concerned about a physical human being hovering over me, because it's pretty lax. All I want to know is if I can purchase the alcohol from the automated checkout lane.

GET OVER THE FACT THAT YOU ARE UNDERAGED AND THEREFORE CANNOT BUY ALCOHOL NOR SHOULD DRINK IT

Sorry for the caps but aye .. you teenagers are beyond fu**ed up

  3. Nope, they have someone come check the ID.

  4. No. Most self-checkout computers will ask for the I.D. to be entered by the cashier at the front who is in charge of observing the self-checkout lines.

Do what other kids do- find someone that's 21 or with a fake I.D.

  5. naw the lane sends a signal to the man computer so the supervisor will go check ur ID dont try it!!

  6. Not if you're really really fast!

    Good luck with that!

  7. sure you can take it there, but it will still have to be approved by a manager, who will then check your id. good luck.
