Can and how do you mod a spring airsoft rifle into a electric one?

  1. I think it is not practical as the frame of the spring gun may not match electric part.. I would buy a decent Chinese gun like CYMA CM028...  


  2. you  cannot modify it into an electric you would have to buy another gun but if by electric you mean like laser scopes than you can pick one up at one of your local walmarts but to put one one you will need a 3/8 dovetail mount

  3. It really just is not practical. By the time you've purchased a gearbox, motor and battery, you've spent about as much as a good JG brand gun would cost. Then there's the problem of making the gearbox and other internals fit into a body designed for a spring action. Major hard work. I'd just buy a cheaper Tokyo Marui "clone" gun such as a JG or even a WELL brand, and then begin upgrading it slowly over time with TM upgrade parts. The WELL R6 is a M4 design, and would be the cheapest place to start. (60-80$) It has a metal gearbox and gears to begin with, as well as a good motor and decent battery. You can upgrade to metal body parts later if desired.
