Hi, I would like to know if an Iranian born in Iran, taking up citizenship in another country, can enter Iran with his foreign passport and a visa for Iran? Would this be a problem? Will there be an problems in the airport?

  1. Why not..yes..

  2. Alright.

So, if you want to surrender your Iranian citizenship, yes you can do that with your local Iranian embassy/consulate.

You should have no problems re-entering Iran on your new passport AND a valid Iranian visa.

(Note: the embassy/consulate will not give you a new Iranian visa if they didn't want you admitted to Iran. So in theory, no, there will be no problems at the airport.)

    HOWEVER

Iran does not recognize Israel (or tolerate any person that has visited Israel and has an Israeli stamp in their passport, beware of that).
