He has been trying to recover for 3 years.

His problem is above his neck.

All through out hs life he always thought and assumed, and was todl when younger, that his serve was a huge weapon and will many matches. While that came to be true,a nd when he first came on tour was a force, since then many guys have stepped it up with their return game and Andy is left frustrated more so.

His ground game isnt all that. Lacks a backhand, especially a topspin backhand. His net play is iffy, and all the while doesnt want to seem to improve on these things and has setlled in to his style of game. Which is why last season Connors left as coach. His lack of willingness to learn and improve,a nd his temperment costs him plenty.

I personally think andy is overrated, a great serve and strong forehand but thats what describes his game..I am not surprised that he is not living up to the hype

Poor Andy, Del Potro outplayed him!

I love Roddick, but Del Potro just outplayed and outpowered him. Andy did pretty bad in the first set but after that injury time out he seemed to come alive allot more. Andy kept trying to outpower too much it seemed, and Del Potro is friggin 6 foot6 LOL, to roddick's 6 foot 2 ,it wasn't going to work. Del Potro is a big guy with long arms so he will hit long, powerful shots. Roddick should've run him more and made him move and he would've gotten a better chance, but Roddick did make some good shots and attacked at the net better. Roddick's game has seemingly improved, he has more variety in it now. I highly doubt that changing his shirt really had anything to with it, we all know Roddick plays pretty hard and it looked pretty hot out there, so he changed to a lighter color to fit the conditions, but I sort of wished he hadn't because he looks very hot in black, LOL. ;p :)

Aww, i cant believe he lost to Del Porto, in saying that dont feel too down Anna i mean Del Porto has the potential to be a really good player and i guess he just was the better player today. Roddick shouldnt let this defeat get to him, he needs to be concentrating on the US Open, im sure he`ll give it his best to do really well there. Good news is at least he`s feeling fit again :)

Finally he's been found out as nothing more than a player with strong shots, he's got nothing else to his game and thats why he'll keep falling, he's not bouncing back from anything. Feel free to thumbs down...
