  1. Yes, animals can hate people or any other creature, but not in the way that us humans hate.

I recently read White Fang, which explains how an animal thinks. They really don't think, they react. Animals usually connect things with other things. So, if a hand from a human hits an animal a lot, they associate that hand with pain.

If an animal has been through a harsh and cruel relationship (as did White Fang with Beauty Smith) then that animal can come to hate a human.

But it an animal has had a good, loving relationship, that animal will come to love or tolerate humans.

Now, the fact that animals and animal cruelty, animals can hate, but depending on the animal. If the animal is defenseless, such as a bird or a cow, they will most likely FEAR someone, not hate.

    Good luck on your speech!

  2. In my own observation, animals attitudes are not like human..it is because one's you've earned the pets'/animals' trust, they will rely on it.Whatever happens, even if you shows cruelty to them, they will never hate or harm you because they already trust you .Unlike in humans, they will stab you in the back even you considers them a friend..

  3. Animals have just as wide an array as humans. There are plenty of dogs or cats that won't let a specific person or type of person (male, tall, etc) near them because of past experiences. I've seen dogs that rage at other dogs, because they were used as 'bait dogs' for training dog fights.

Animals can love, hate, show remorse, be depressed, be curious, hold grudges- any emotion we can have, they can as well.

If you can, spend some time at an animal shelter, and you'll quickly see this.

    Good luck on the speech.
