Can ann1 help me with the game Harvest moon DS?

I am really struggling with trying to get Muffy's heart to turn black. Can someone please help me? thanks x

At the start of the game, everyones heart is black, and need to get it to change to another colour to marry them. So I'm assuming that Muffy's heart is another colour, and you want to change it back to black.

Well, give Muffy one gift a day, but give her something she doesn't like! Such as easy-to-catch (compared to large fish!) small fish. One small fish a day keeps Muffy away!
