Question:

Can anxiety cause a white coating on my tongue with red bumps?

It brushes off when I brush my teeth but could this go into my lungs if it is thrush??

  1. that is definitely thrush and you need to go to the doctor anxiety does not cause that.  I have had anxiety and have never have that.  It could be a virus or something but you should really see a doc.


  2. A white tongue means you probably have a virus of some sort, which is common when you've been dealing with high waves of anxiety. Anxiety takes it's toll on a body, wears ya down, and  your immune system gets shoddy. Make sure you eat well, take vitamins, drink lots of water, and REST!

  3. You have what is commonly called a "white strawberry".  See your physician.  It probably is thrush.

  4. You might have some sort of virus, have your doctor look at before you worry too much

  5. It sounds more like some sort of infection. Bronchitis maybe? If it doesn't go away in the next couple days then definitely go to the doctor. I'm a high anxiety person, and I get drymouth sometimes, but no white with red bumps!
