Can anxiety worsen dyslexia?

I have GAD and dyslexia... lately I have found that my dyslexia is acting up again, something that has not happened to me in 15 years. Could this be because of my anxiety?

  1. The anxiety is probably making you more aware of your dyslexia, which as a result, makes you think about it more often and it just becomes worse.  I would just try to relax.  I have social anxiety, and when I think about it, it just becomes worse.  I just assure myself that I have it and thats it.  The more you accept it, the less you'll notice it

  3. I am not an expert on dyslexia but I know a lot about anxiety and

anxiety can affect anything you do.  I once stood in front of 200+ people and as I pointed to the flip chart I could not differentiate between the words Pros and Cons, I am a 30+ adult and this was part of my job that I was quite used to, needless to mention I made an excuse and had a colleague take over for me.  When you are anxious anything can happen to you.  Think About It!
