If you do have a place around home where you can get it rebuilt (rewound) thats gonna be the cheapest way to go.

Anywhere form about $110- $250 depending on where you buy it and if it's new or re-manufactured.

You can find new after market starters for around $110, but it may take a little searching the web to find it.

look up a starter re builder in yellow pages   get a quote......phone up the dealer ...get a quote...! check out eBay....prices are clearly marked...get a quote on shipping.....and after that ....you make the decision !
