  1. Sophmore is 10th grade, Junior is 11th grade and Freshman is 9th grade.  The different levels of school in the USA are pre-school, nursery school, grade school, Junior high school, Senior High school, College, etc etc etc

  2. im irish but there ya go--

    9th grade is freshman

    10th is sophomore

    11th is junior

    12th is senior

    then freshman college ect.....

  3. Freshman are 9th graders in highschool.

    Sophmores are 10th graders

    Juniors are 11th.

    Seniors are 12th.

It's the same in college too.

Freshman = 1st year old college

    Sophmore = 2nd

    Juniors = 3rd

    Seniors = 4th (last)

  4. freshman are 9th graders

    sophomores are 10th graders

    juniors are 11th graders

    seniors are 12th graders

(all of the above are the in the high school)

  5. You start around age 5. It goes:

    Kindergarten

    1st Grade

    2nd Grade

    3rd Grade

    4th Grade

    5th Grade

Middle school starts either after 5th or sixth grade.

    6th Grade

    7th Grade

    8th Grade

    Then High school starts

    9th Grade

    (Freshman)

    10th Grade

    (Sophomore)

    11th Grade

    (Junior)

    12th Grade

    (Senior)

  6. primary or elementary is kindergarten through 6th grade

    Middle school is 7th & 8th

    High School is;n 9th - freshman. 10th - sophomore, 11th junior, 12th senior.

College uses the freshman,1st year, sophomore 2nd year, junior 3rd year, senior 4th year.

    hope that helps

  7. Pre-school

    for todlers, ages 2-4 generally.

    Elementary school:

    Kindergarten 5-6 years

    1st grade 6-7 years [u get it]

    2nd grade

    3rd grade

    4th grade

    5th grade

Now, this is where it differes. Some elementary schools have a 6th grade, but mine didnt.

    Middle school

    6th grade

    7th grade

    8th grade

    Highschool

    Freshman 9th grade

    Sophmore 10th grade

    Junior 11th grade

    Senior 12th grade

    College

As many years as necessary in order to get your job.

  8. elementary school= kindergarden to 5th

    middle school = 6th-8th

    high school = 9th a.k.a freshman 10th a.k.a sophmore, 11th a.k.a junior, 12th a.k.a senior

*it may be alittle different for each school district*

  9. Freshman: first year of high school

Sophomores: 2nd year of high school

Juniors: 3ed year of high school

Seniors: 4th year of high school

  10. you typically have primary school  Kindergarten through 5th grade

middle school is generally  6th through 8th grade

    Highschool is 9th through 12 a freshman is a 9th grader sophomore 10th  junio 11th and a senior is t12th

    then its off to college

  11. you need to write somebody here. it is too long a story.

  12. In high school: Freshman is like 9th grade

Sophomore is 10 grade, then Junior 11th and last

                          Senior 12th grade

So, in college from freshman year to Senior year, would be a 4 year study completion program

  13. Some schools have a "head start" where they kind of prepare for school

    preschool

kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and sometimes 5th are considered elementary (5th where I live is in middle school)

5th (possibly), 6th, 7th, and 8th are considered middle school

9th- freshmen, 10th- sophomore, 11th- junior, 12th- senior, are all in high school

Then you can go to college if you want and they have freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior. But it doesn't have the numbers.

  14. well u start at

    Pre Kindergarten

    Kidnergarten

1st grade- 8th grade (where u have a graduation ceremony cuz ure off to highschool)

    9th grade-Freshman

    10th-Sophmore

    11th-Junior

12th-Senior (u graduate this yr as well as go to prom but they also have junior proms too)

the higher the grade the more intense the work becomes.

U start Pre K and all that at around 5. When off to 1st  grade thru 8th u r graded reguarly by A,B,C,D and F  or I (incomplete)

in highschool we go by credits. i believe its 44 credits to graduate meaning each class u take thruout ur 4yrs is a credit. u cannot graduate without the required amount of credits (so off to summer school)...in highschool u choose the classes u want to take selected out of the list of classes u have to take that yr (so u choose the order) u get one elective class which is a class not required such as Cooking or Wood shop class.

once all 4yrs is completed with required credits u can graduate.

  15. freshmans 9th

    sophore 10th

    junior 11th

    senior 12th

    grades are 9th, 10th ....

  16. There's a lot to the system so hard to explain it all here. Try this website: http://www.usastudyguide.com/usaeducatio...

The American high school typically has 4 grades: 9th (freshman), 10th (sophomore), 11th (junior) and 12th (senior). Some schools have a junior high which is 7th and 8th grade but then some other schools will include 9th as well. After 12th grade, you graduate from high school and either continue your studies at the university level or you go to work.

  17. umm r u from another country?? where?

  18. Well it isn't really a system, but things people say by mouth and it gets known

    9th grade-freshman

    10th grade-sophmore

    11th grade-junior

    12th grade senior

it is more used in highschool...

so if you are in the 9th grade then you are a freshman,,when you pass this summer you will go on to the 10th grade and be a sophmore...and so on

  19. we go, teachers beat us, we come home and work...(home-work)

  20. the different states have different standards, but all the grades are the same in each state:

you go to kindergarten-5th grade in elementary school

then 6th-8th grade in junior high school

then after elementary school and junior high school you go to high school which is:

    9th grade (freshman)

    10th grade (sophomore)

    11th grade (junior)

    and finally 12th grade (senior)

after the senior year you graduate (if you get good grades) and have the choice to go to college.

like i said there are different standards for different states.

  21. freshmans 9th

    sophore 10

    junior 11

    senior 12

we have elemantry  kindergarden thourgh 5th

    middle (junior high) school 6-8

    and high school 9-12

  22. Depending on the school district hight schools can range from 9-12 grade and 10-12 grade. Sophomores are 10th graders, juniors are 11th graders, and 12th graders are seniors. oops i forgot about freshmen. they are 9th graders. hope this helped.

  23. Well it's sometimes different here too in different states.

But there's elementary which is kindergarten - 5th grade, then middle school is 6th-8th grade, and high school 9th-12th grade.

    9th grade- Freshmans

    10th grade- Sophomores

    11th grade- Juniors

    12th- Seniors

  24. okay in high school theres 4 grades.

freshman are the newest and their 9th graders.

    sophomores are 10th graders.

    juniors are 11th grade.

and seniors are the top and they are 12th grade

    freshman-sophomores and underclassmen

    and juniors-seniors are upperclassmen

  25. Freshman~9th grade

    Sophomore~10th grade

    Junior~11th grade

    Senior~12th grade

12th grade is the final grade

    or level for

    High School !!

  26. freshman -> grade 8 and 9's

    juniors -> grade 10 and 11's

    sophomores -> grade 12

  27. Okay first there's Elementary School for when you're little -

Kindergarten(Starting from when you're about 5) through fifth grade, sometimes until sixth grade.

Middle School or Secondary. Starts with sixth grade or 7th grade. Until 8th grade. Each grade is a year.

    High school:

    Freshman (9th grade)

    Sophmore (10th)

    Junior (11th)

Senior (12th  and your last year of school.) (Graduation!)

    Then comes College..

  28. Pre-school: where you go when you are a little kid, you learn alphabet, reading, but mostly just play around. This isn't required for people to go to, and preschools are generally private schools (you have to pay to have your kids go to them). It's basically another word for day-care.

Kindergarten: Public school starts here. It is required that people go. Sometimes it is attached to a pre-school, or sometimes it is part of an elementary school.

Elementary school: (Also known as grammar school) Usually has Kindergarten and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. You generally stick with one class all day, you will probably have gym or art or music class as well, but you will always be with the same group of kids.

Middle School: (Used to be called junior high) - Has 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. This is usually where you start having different classes with different kids and teachers.

High School: (Sometimes called "Senior High") - Has 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades.

9th grade = your "freshman year"

    10th grade = sophomore

    11th grade = junior

    12th grade = senior

Hope this helps! Message me if you are unclear about anything.

  29. kay in high school they have names for different grade levels...
