Can any JVC detactable faceplate for a car fit on another?

I have a JVC cd player in my car. The faceplate got stolen and dont know the exact model and cant find it anywhere. Will any JVC faceplate fit in or does it have to be that specific model?

Im not sure. its possible, but i don't know how you would buy a face plate without buying the rest of a head unit. you could always save up some money and buy a whole new headunit. Circuit city is always installing headunits for free if you buy one that costs atleast 100 dollars. so 100 bucks can get you a brand new headunit professionally installed.

if it does it will not work right because the button location on the faceplate will be different so even if they did line up the buttons would not work
