  1. It is a different way to look at fresh water systems of rivers and lakes.  Traditionally there were several different sciences that were used to describe a body of fresh water, hydrology, aquatic biology, limnology and several more.

    Ecohydrology is an attempt to combine these sciences into a comprehensive method for viewing and analyzing river and lake systems.
