  1. Map here : http://www.airportcity-frankfurt.com/cms...

Looks as though you will go through one control point.

  2. you have to go through another security check.  if you have a passport, you'll need that and your ticket.

  3. Follow the signs, its easy. I think you have to go through security control.

  4. I'm a little curious as to how you know exactly which gates you are traveling to and from since one delay can change a gate assignment at any time.

First of all, check the monitors or ask airline personel before running off to your gate.

If you do indeed travel from C6 to B52, you will stay in transit. There will be no passport control, however, before you enter the waiting area for B52 (which holds B50 and B51 as well) there is a security control.

Just follow the signs to B from C6. It is a 10-15 minute walk to  gate B52.

You will follow a long concourse that leads you upstairs...that winds around until it opens up to the upper level of the Transit B area. There you will see a small Ticket counter area, a Transfer Check-In area, Passport control check points (dont go through!) and so on. You will then see a long escalator that takes you down two floors to the basement. At the bottom of the escelator, turn right and there is the security entry to the B50-B52 waiting area.

Just a  hint...make sure you use the restroom BEFORE you go in since there is none in the waiting area and you would have to leave and go back through security again!

Just follow the signs (written in both German and English) and you will be fine.
