  1. waste of money

  2. Press Crrl+P > preferences > choose best photo

  3. I tried a refill for and old epson printer - worked ok for a few months then the ink jets just stopped working. ended up buying a new printer. I would advise not to go with ink refill alternatives as they will probably fail in the long term.

  4. If you have not opened it take it back.It is sooooo messy.

  5. I have done it successfully several times, but its hardly worth the bother. I`ve just bought 2 compatible cartridges for my HP printer on EBay for 10 quid.

  6. Unfortunatey the refills are not always the same ink type as used in the original , the cartridges are not really meant to be refilled so the manufactures dont make it easy to do this .It sounds like the ink is too thin and running .Nothing you can do about it im afraid . ...

  7. Its a false economy, tried it myself once..after a lot of mess, threw it out and bought the cartridges as usual

  8. I keep warning people that playing around with refills is not worth the effort. You save pennies (if you dont count the laundry bills for all the clothes you stain) and you lose dollars, particularly when you end up destroying the printer. If you want to save money, buy brand new (not refilled or remanufactured) ink cartridges. For epson go to http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp   I've been using these for about ten years.

  9. I got one once, it is just a mess, it did not really work, I just got inky hands.
