During the first five days of Michelle's summer vacation, she spent each day with different person: Zach, Luisa, Marcus, Kellyand her mother. During the week, Michelle spent her moring swimming, playing chess, shopping, biking, and picnicking. Her afternoons were speint playing tennis, walking, listening to the radio, skateboarding and painting her room. Use the strategy of eliminnating possibilities to determine which day she spent with each person and what they did together in the morning and afternoon of each day.

1. Michelle and zach spent the afternon skating

2. It rained all day on friday, so Michelle spent the day in the house

3. Luisa, who cannot swim, spent Thursday with Michhelle. They did not shop.

4. Michelle went biking wth Marcus two days before helping her mother paint her room

5. Michelle didn't tennis on Tuesday or on the day she went bicling. she did'nt go swimming on the day she painted her room.

6. Michell's mother doesn't play chess.
