Can any experienced tarot card readers offer any insights on this reading?

Question

Ugh, I know this is really girly and lame, but I went on a date which seemed to go pretty well, but he said he would call me and he didn't!

I did a Celtic Cross reading (I know there are different ways of doing it, but this is how my mom taught me).

1. Present: Empress

2. Challenge: 4 of Wands

3. Foundation: 9 of Swords

4. Past: Emperor

5. Near Future: 5 of Pentacles

6. Best that can be achieved: Page of Pentacles

7. Inner feelings: Page of Cups

8. External influences: 10 of Cups

9. Fear: 5 of Swords

10. Outcome: Knight of Swords

I thought this appeared fairly encouraging ... but I might be biased!

Can anyone more experienced with tarot cards offer their own insights? And most importantly, what advice or guidance is it giving me?

(1) You are feeling nurturing and maternal. There is a desire for love and affection.Perhaps the mother figures greatly into this matter.(2) You feel idealistic in regard to your previous date and perhaps are encoraginging fantasies and ardent desires that were not felt by the other person. Perhaps family expectations or a hastiness for commitment were inhibitors.(3) At the moment what you have to work with is your mind. Cutting away out-moded thoughtforms is neccessary, as they will cause pain. (4) In the past a stern attitude was taken toward love and romance. Or the father was a stern influence in this matter or stern father-type males were dated.(5)  In the future ,with your current mindset, it is likely that you will be forced to learn a vital lesson, either in regard to finances or yourself.(6) The best that can be achieved would be material stability. Regarding the relationship, this guy is stable and detail-oriented.Persisitant and hardworking or these are traits that describe you. (7) You are super emotional and subject to the tides of your feelings in regard to this matter. Thus you may not see things clearly, but through a veil of illusion. (8) Your family is a joyous influence and you are moved toward a relationship with joy, happiness and affection. (9) You fear parting ways with this person and being left alone. But you hope to be able to win his affection. (10) The overall out come, having been extremely eager to have a relationship with this fellow, you were active in pursuing this goal. But on a mental level their may have been conflict and he parted ways to pursue other activities, perhaps that were more mentally stimulating.A new course of action should be taken perhaps, involving more tact and less aggressiveness. You should be mindfull of your actions and speech.

Sometimes instead of analyzing each card and its position, I just get an overall "feel" for the read and energy.

You don't know me from Eve so here goes my impression on this read, for a total stranger, what intuition comes to me.

He just isn't the right one for you and I don't sense him connecting again. The energy is very unstable.

Know that when a door shuts, a window opens though.

Sorry I didn't get a better impression...just my perception.

He is going to phone, but you have to wait a bit longer yet. You look to be unduly insecure about this, because I would guess you have made a good first impression. I think he's quite interested. It's too soon to see where this is headed in the long term, but you've made a promising start. He looks to be clever and headstrong and a bit of a tease, so I hope you can handle him.
