Moderately bright, nothing ridiculous, just adding a little glow to my bike. It would be safer for me that's for sure.

  1. i dont see why it would be illegal, its not actually putting off anylight that would be a glare to you or others, and it would be a great safety feature, if they want to be stupid about it, get a bunch of dot 4 way(reflects up down left right) reflector tape and cover your whole bike, nothing they can do about you then.

  2. I'm not in law enforcement, but you can paint yor bike any color or color cobination that you want.

  3. How about putting a bright orange flag on your motorcycle....kinda like the one you had as a kid on your Huffy.

  4. I am "NOT" - one of your required "Law Enforcement Officials"  - but I assume you "MEAN" a phosphorus "Flourescent" type of paint... similar to that used on "wristwatch & clock" hands - which "stores LIGHT shone upon - and then returns it as a pale yellow green light - "flourescently" - until the effect fades.... sort of like reflectorised tape - yet with a lingering "Afterglow" = thus - as far as I am aware - from perusing the NZ Lighting Regulations & Transport Safety acts... as "LONG" as the "colour" was NORMALLY ALLOWED - to shine from that area... I cannot see what ANY "Law Enforcement Officer" would have - to complain about... simply as - by the TIME you were "STOPPED" - the effect would have "DISSAPPEARED" - and wouldn't SHOW - in daylight? BUT - to be absolutely certain - do some "RESEARCH" - on the internet - in your OWN country... especially Govt. Laws & Official Transport Acts... also Warrant of Fitness Laws & Acts etc... for clarification. (Re the light "facings":- ie... Amber & White-ish shining to the front ... with Amber & Red-ish - facing to the rear...)

  5. I don't see why it would be illegal. Neon lights are illegal but not bright paint.
