  1. Some areas have drawings, some you can just go buy one at a license dealer, and some areas don't have an antlerless season.  Check the MI DNR website or call to find out about the area you want to hunt.

  2. You cannot buy a doe permit, you have to apply for a doe permit in the area you want to hunt.  And the time frame for applying is fast coming to an end!

You can enter on line at the DNR's web site or go to a store where they sell hunting lic/fishing lic and apply.

If you don't want to apply, sometime in the middle of Sept., you can buy a doe permit over the counter, but only in areas that still have permits available.

Good luck, I work at a large sporting goods store in Mich.

  3. Eric,

The website below contains information about hunters age 10-16. Please make sure you qualify including this paragraph:

The minimum age requirements for all licenses are listed with the License Fees. Youngsters who apply for a license through a drawing must be the minimum age when the license is purchased.

If so, then information about getting an antlerless permit is available on the second website.

  4. You just have to go buy a doe permit
