Can any one Teach me to Ride a Gear Bike ?

Question

I am from Chennai. I feel too embarrassed to ask my friends or my Dad too Teach me to ride a bike. I dont know why.

I would feel more Comfortable if a Third Person could Teach me .

Take a motorcycle safety course.  They teach you the basics and all you need to know to get on the road.  You should be able to find a course in your area online.  If you need an excuse, tell them that completion of the course will often result in a reduction of insurance.  Good luck.

theres usually 6 gears

1st

half click up is NEUTRAL

2nd

you start in neutral.. start the bike and pull in the clutch and click down to first. now when your in 1st you give it gas and let go of the clutch slowly (if you give it to much gas you'll wheelie) then when your riding in 1st and you want to switch to 2nd you pull the clutch in, let off the throttle, and click up to second all in one motion (making sure you go past neutral when your going from 1st to 2nd) and then when you go from 2nd, 3rd, ext. you do the same motion (pull the clutch in, let off the throttle, and click up to a higher gear).. when you come to a stop pull in the clutch and down shift to first. and when your riding down a hill pull the clutch in and coast

-you kinda have to be there with them to teach them but i hope this helped
