  1. Most of the restaurants are along the front, the beaches are great and there is a water park which the bus will take you to, April will still be a bit cool for swimming. There is lots of pubs and at The Bellvue Complex there is entertainment but When I was there everyone was eaten by the mosquito's so take lots of spray, take antihistamine tablets everyday for 2 weeks before you go and it will stop the mosquito's from biting you. I loved Alcudia and it is mainly for families not for single teenagers. C'an Pickafort nearby is nice

  2. I went to Playa De Muro in 2006 and its a fabulous place... There are so many excellent restaraunts you will be spoilt for choice.. Topo's was our favourite and we made sure we had a least one meal a day there... They really looked after us and we plan to return there this year!!!!

The beaches in Alcudia would rival the caribbean... they are totally awesome!!!!

Have fun... you will love it!!!!

  3. alcudia is a lovely place the beach is gorgeous i think the beach is something like 7 miles long so you don't feel to crowded there are plenty of shops i stayed there 10 yrs ago but we visited for the day about two years ago the water park is small but its enough for a day out but i do recommend go to the larger water park at arenal believe me your 12yr old grandson will love it and try and visit the cave of drach they have to be seen to be believed and the oldie world train to sollar is very scenic travelling through the orange grove's have a great time

  4. went when i was younger and there's the main street with lots of shops and resaturants etc. The water park that someone talked about was good. The beach is absolutely brill..it was blue flag when i went. You should go on a horse and carridge ride..

try www.alcudiascene.com it has a lotof info etc

    have a good time

  5. last time i went it was nice, has all you mention and more, not rowdy, more family. nice beach, about hour and twenty min transfer from palma airport.

  6. I've been a few times with my family when I was younger.  Most of the restaurants, shops etc are set down the main street.  There is one called the peach pit that had a nice family atmosphere and decent food.  Also, there is a water park just ouside the main resort that we all loved.  Buses run to it from the main street all day and also from a lot of the hotels.  Hope this helps

  7. don't forget you can bus down to puerto pollensa too which is only a few euro's its very pretty there
