No marketing scam! Magnapool really does work! Wait until you see the next story, it will blow you out of the water.
Mineral Max is made up from 65% of sodium, and you pay $60/bag - how is that cheaper? Magnapool minerals are postassium and magnesium and RRP is $33/bag.
You cant just wack in the minerals with your normal salt chlorinator for several reasons, including binding up your filter. It's not just about the hydroxinateur (power pack) it's the whole filtration system.
It is by no means a marketing scam. Speak to people who own Magnapools. They will never return to a salt pool again - try swimmming in one, and experience the benefits.
People/Suppliers are scared of the product, an exciting new innovation and have nothing better to do than degrade an Australian Owned Company and product that backs their product 110% because they see the benefit it is giving people, the environment etc.
All these "people // Guests"on the forums bagging the product I bet are in the industry, and know nothing about the product, but have a gripe about magnapool because of a falling out with the manufacturer or other personal gripe.

This is by far the best pool system. I have had people with skin disorders swim in my magnapool call me up saying how great they feel 2 days after. You don't add chlorine, it is generated by electrolysis. This chlorine is by no means comparable to a cholorine pool.
It really isn't that expensive to install and maintain. Whilst the minerals are more expensive then salt, you would use far less in a year. You would also use far less other chemicals. The only additional chemicals I have used in the last 12 months are hydrochloric acid, and buffer, to control the ph.
Don't be fooled by the naysayers. It is here to stay, and will become the standard. It just isn't that expensive. What you spend on the additional cost of the minerals, you save in other chemicals.
You can buy the minerals from plenty of pool shops. Magnapool list them on their website. All these shops have been traned in the system, so they know the suitable levels of the chemistry. In fact, these are the only places you can buy the minerals.
Sorry not correct Magnapool no mineral water I have tasted has 4000 parts per million of salt in it!
The use it on your garden is another con....read the full text, only when you dilute it.
You can do the same with ant salt water back wash....if you dilute it.
Absolutely agree with the last guests. Upon further research I now see this as the best marketing scam to hit the industry for years. I have looked around for the salt but I am told that the Magna Pool salt is not available in pool shops and dispatch is controlled by the factory/agents. Could this be because word of the scam has got around a folks were buying the salt to use with there own chlorinators? Either way it doesn’t matter as it still makes bucket loads of chlorine. Just buy pool salt and chuck in some “Epson Salts” if you think it is worth while, personally I don’t .
Magna Pool is a great marketing scam...no patent has been issued for this so called innovation.
Have a look at the companies back ground they are Pool rite what is there main product salt water chlorinators. How do you re invent a chlorinator sell the punter epson salts and pool salt for 5 times Bunnings price with a Pool rite chlorinator with a new sticker at twice the price and call it a new pool system...come in spinner!!!
