To apply for grants you go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and fill out your fafsa. It is based off of your 07 tax return and possibly your parents (depending on if you are considered dependent) You do not have to write anything, it is just question/answer and you submitt it directly on that web site. you will have to sign it electronically with a pin number that you can get from www.pin.ed.gov
