  1. Simple! Go to 'Gallery', then to your memory card folder( you dont need to go into your memory card folder),  just click options, and then format the memory card.

  2. all the answers given by Other people are INCORRECT, they are asking you to format your card and not your phone

    ILL tell you, Remove the battery and reinsert it after 5 seconds

    after you insert the battery, you will find "NOKIA" screen in blue, repeatedly press CTRL+SHIFT+F

    during that time,

    and BINGO

    you will get a format screen!!!
