After doing B.Tech in ECE,

You may be employed in Electronic Exchanges, Department of Telecommunications, Doordarshan Parsar Bharti, BSNL, Broadcasting Networks or in Manufacturing Industries.

Major Companies that take you : TCS, HCL, Wipro, Infosys etc.

Your starting package would be anything b/w 3.5-5.5 Lakhs depending on your institute.

However, with a B.Tech + MBA, you will have a high paid management job with your starting package upto 1 Cr(ie the case for iim-a students)

Well After Eltx,you may find that in india there are very less companies who actually manf eltx components.Many of my friends complete BE(E&C) but now they are working in IT/Software companies.None of them are working in Core companies of Eltx.

You may find a great salary in computer companies but there is no future for Eltx in india at manf & design side.

Better to do MBA. after BE(E&C).
