  1. follow the fuel line it may not have one

  2. As well as the fine screen mesh in the tap the other place will be in the carb bowl where heavy deposits drop out of the fuel when left to stand, these can and do block jets at start up/idling/accelerating and this bowl may need a clean out...

Could be many reasons for cutting out - check air box filter/plug/contaminated fuel/coil/capacitor etc

  3. There is a hose that comes from the bottom of the gas tank which runs to the carburetor, if there is a fuel filter, it would be located on this hose. Most of the time there is no fuel filter.

  4. I'd say it would depend on the make and model of bike

  5. If there is no "in line" filter, then there might be one on the fuel tap, that goes into the tank, or their might be one inside the carburator where the fuel line connects

  6. It's in the tank as part of the fuel valve assembly. 100% positive.

  7. Not all motorcycles have fuel filter, however if it does you will find it installed between the fuel tank and the carb. There is normally a fuel strainer located in the fuel tap under the tank, you can clean this out and normally requires the tap to be removed.

  8. Some don't have an inline filter, but there is usually a small screen inside the fuel tank.  Just unscrew the fuel shut-off valve - it should be attached to the top of the valve..

  9. depends on the type and brand of bike. it can be under the fuell tap that 's under the reservoir. but it's most likely to be in the fuel reservoir, avoiding dirt from inside the reservoir (usually at the bottom) to go to the carburator and block the fuell flow (which would give the engine troubles running). Not all bikes have fuell filters
