I am so confused.

I have 5 cats and a big house, with carpets, hard floors and stairs. What will be the best option for me?

  1. Miele. Every time!

  2. Hi edyta,

I agree that Dysons seem to be superior to the rest, but if you don't have the $ to spend on one I am happy with the Bissell Clearview Bagless.  I had a dog the constantly shed and it did the trick on a regular basis.  I had to clean it after every vacuuming, the canister, the filter for the canister, and the dust filter closest to the beater bar.  When clean it had excellent suction.  I think the newer version has a detachable feature to clean carpeted stairs with a small beater bar as well.

  3. A Dyson upright but buy a set of ear plugs with it :(

  4. I love my Dirt Devils.

    I have three.

A hand held, a small upright ( called the Dynamite ) and a full size upright.  The small upright is for downstairs with my hardwoods, the full size is kept upstairs and does my carpeting and I use the handheld on the stairs.   This is just my preference.  The full size upright would do it all but I'm finicky that way  :)

  5. An upright Dyson - they are by far the best.

  6. yip. dyson

  7. I've always had good-luck with Electrolux or Hoover vacuums.

  8. I'm a Dyson groupie.  It's well worth the money.

  9. I can tell you what not to but.. Any Eureka vacuum. I've gone through 3 in the past year and a half and I only have a cat an two kids. I am currently saving for a Dyson. ;)

  10. Miele cat and dog. It's the best.

  11. i love my miele ! I have birds, dogs, etc, and have been through dozens of  various vacum cleaners in the past. Great on hardwoods too! It really sucks it up! I bought mine second hand. Bags are a little pricey but totally worth it. German engineered, like a great car!

  12. Dyson do one with high suction for animal fur but it's heavy. I got a one with a high suction from LG to do carpets and wood floors. Works fine.

  13. dyson are a sure winner - we have had them for years without any problems
