Can any one tell the advantages and dis advantages of photochrome glasses.?

The main advantage of course is that they will act like a sunglass outside without having to switch glasses , and they give you full UV protection at all times. ( except for light coming in around the sides if they are a small frame )

Disadvantages are that when you enter a building, it takes 2 or 3 minutes for them to lighten up.

Some days, it may be just overcast , and you don't want to be wearing a sunglass...but they will sometimes get very dark anyway as long as ultra violet rays can get through clear spots in the clouds.

And you should also know that they don't darken inside a car because the windshield blocks the ultra violet rays that make them change. So they don't work as a sunglass for driving.

We sell a lot of them...some people love them, and some don't...

I guess the only way you will ever really know for yourself is to have a pair made.
