Can any one write in Hebrew?

I have a very religious good friend who has recently changed her name to Glisha which apparently means in the biblical sense, '0verflow'.

I would like to make her a present of something engraved with her name as it would be written in Hebrew.

  1. i regret to disappoint you and your friend. in the bible, the Hebrew root

ג-ל-ש appears only in the verb form. song of songs chapter 4:

שערך כעדר העזים אשר גלשו מהר גלעד

thy hair [is] as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.

comparing to the use of this verb in the Talmud' it seems that "appear" is the right translation. nevertheless it is usually understood as  "ascending" or "going down"

Your hair is like a flock of goats,

    Going down from Mount Gilead.

the noun גלישה (glisha) is modern Hebrew, ascending by gliding and as a secondary use: overflowing.

  2. גלישה

i hope that will make it as you need

    gooood luck
