Angels are playing great right now, but come October, it is a new season, and anything can happen.  With Texeira in the line-up, Angels are that much better. They will be tough to beat. I don't think there is any NL team that can beat the Angels. But, like I said, anything can happen: A bad throw by Mathis, an off-day by Lackey, injuries, an error by Vlad in the outfield, and a few bad pitches by K-Rod in the ninth... all of these have happened, and it could happen again in the playoffs. These circumstances are worth at least two games in the WS.

How do you know the Red Sox will not beat them? Don't be stupid like the 2004 Yankees. Any playoff team has a chance against them, don't count anyone out. They clearly are better than any other team in the ML right now, but an injury could end their entire WS run.

The psotseason is about performance and not what your team looks like on paper. I mean look at the 06 Cards. I don't want to take anything away from them but a 83 win team winning it all? The Angels may very well have the best record in baseball so I could see them getting knocked out in the first round. There is only October, anything is possible.

Let's see how the regular season ends and how the the ALDS and ALCS turns out before sending the Angels to World Series.  They look great right now but we are still in July.  A lot can happen.  At this point they sure do look a lot better than anything the NL but the Cardinals regular season record didn't look very beastly the last time they won the World Series.

They will probably play a Cubs team that manhandled CC and Sheets.  Adding one offensive player does not fix the Angels offense.

That is all I have to say.  The Cubs still have the best all around team in the Majors, the Angles still only have great pitching.
