Can any type of detergent be used in a Craftsman pressure washer?

I have a Craftsman pressure washer. I found a gallon of ZEP brand multipurpose detergent at Home Depot relatively inexpensive. However, it mentions something about using it with machines that have a downstream chemical injector. Does anyone know what this is and if the Craftsman model has one?

What the downstream means is there is a siphon hose close to the spray nozzle. They say that because if put in a reservoir it'll suds up causing air to get into the system and loosing all suction. You need a low sudsing which is sold close to the sprayers in Home Depot or Lowe's.
