Can u advice me about how not to waste materials in hotels and how to keep track of usade items?

how ease i can get profit not by wasting their grocerries, vegetables, products, eletricity, water...

what are the ways for proper usage of products, etc?

kindly give me ur ideas about how can the hotel management reduce waste & how can they make money from wasteage.

they have a software to know grocery, vegtegables usage in my store & outlet.

curretn process as follows:

1. from outlet they tell store people to give rice for 50people.

2. we have a specified quantity

3.accordingly store people send rice(ex:20kg)

4.end of the day, management use to check how much catered, how many orders and how many raw items from stores went.

is there any new tech or idea to know the material used, how not to waste ,if it is wasted. and also i want to know the proper use , maintenance of machineries, Air conditioners, eletricity. will any software helps to maintain the track and usage of

    Food cost is most important thing in hotel and restn industry.

    Proper indending and wastage free preparation is most important

    .good storing area and proper ledger for goods in and out is most important.Its FIFO, FIRST IN FIRST OUT is the golden rule.

    Wats going out of the stores should be registered in register.

    Separate register for days and monthly consumption.for grocery,vegetable,fruits.

    daily Wastage report for cooked food and raw material has to be maintained.

    Software are there but it can give only the store availability.

    its doesn't give indend.it give only the availability in the store.if Ur have any doubt mail me.
