Can any1 advice me about how to avoid wasteages in hotels?

i want to improve the hotel management. how ease i can get profit not by wasting their grocerries, vegetables, products, electricity, water...

what are the ways for proper usage of products?

kindly give me ur ideas about how can the hotel management reduce waste & how can they make money from wasteage.

I'm a little confused as to are you asking the question from a hotel management perspective or a consumer perspective.

Anyway, one good way is to not to provide everything like toothbrush, shavers, cotton buds, snack bar, etc. Most of these are nice to have but not a necessity for everyone. Instead, put a note in the room saying that these are available for free upon request. In this case, you don't p**s off the guest yet save on resources. In most cases, the more you provde, the more the guest will consume even though they dun actually need it. Making it less accessible will encourage the guest to think twice before consuming such resources.

Well , Just inject a campain for the hotel.. call it a green week and start cultivating the habit of recycling from the staff and then move on to the guest.

U can have different kinds of rebates schemes for the guest who do not require say the morning papers as they may prefer to read the news from the Net..
